Book name: A Gentle Axe

Pages: 3~17

Summary: Character named Zoya Nikolaevna finds out two dead bodies in the woods while gathering firewoods. Then the scene changes, where chatacter named Porfiy Petrovich talks with Lilya Ivanovna Semenova (who knows Zoya as well) who is accused of stealing money. Porfiry, however, let her go.
Conclusion (in case someone doesn't understand the summary): Confusing. The book doesn't describe neither exposition nor what is going on yet. Readers would just have to infer what would happen next.
